Hello Dolls! Today I have a last minute review for you of Starlight "Fires of Creation" and a giveaway! Firstly let me briefly explain what Polish Pickup is if you are not aware. The concept came about because of the increasing amount of collaboration boxes. People loved that they were curated by themes that they could vote on them but not being required to purchase the whole box. Polish Pickup has a new theme each month, submitted and voted on a few months ahead of time BUT you can buy as little or as much as you like!  Shipping is a flat $3 within the U.S. and $5 to Canada and they even automatically combine orders. Shipping varies for other countries. The Polish Pickup shop opens the first Friday of each month at 11 am EST and remains open through Monday midnight. Some things do have caps and can sell out so be there early! The polishes are exclusive to Polish Pickup.

Due to USPS losing and then finding my swatch package I ended up with an extra Fires of Creation, Issa and I have decided to give it away to one of you so stick around for the Rafflecopter at the end of this post!

Onto the Review! Fires of Creation is described as a blackened blue base with red to green shifting "unicorn pee" pigment (original and currently discontinued, not the newer aurora pigment with the same shift), blue to green shifting shimmer, holographic pigment and flakes, blue micro flakes, and iridescent micro glitter.
That's alot of goodness I tell you and this really does look like space. Super dark colors are not my norm but this was fun. I loved the shift and particularly like it with my nail art. Here's Issa's inspiration photo:

  • Available Friday April 6th, 11 am EST- Monday April 9th.
  • $18.50, 15ml bottle
  • Capped at 350, so add it to your wishlist and be there on time!

  • 2 coats, very opaque and could be a 1 coater if you are careful.
  • Dries to a satiny finish, I used 1 coat of glossy topcoat.
  • As this is a dark color I doubled up on base coat out of habit however I didn't have any staining on my nails or skin. I wore this for 4 days.
  • Removal was very easy, the inclusions are tiny.
  • Slightly thinner formula than I prefer but I didn't have any trouble with opacity, dry time or getting it to stay where I put it.
  • See sub-par natural light videos on my Instagram.
