Bees Knees has kindly sent me items in 6 of the 7 scents dropping for Black friday along with 2 currently available unicorn pee sibling polishes. My husband and I have had a hard couple of months and were in desperate need of some self care. This couldn't have come at a better time. This review includes scroaps (whipped soap and sugar scrub combo), bath bombs, cuticle oil, polish, and a mini review from my hubby. I'll start with his, it's the most interesting. ;) We sniffed everything before recieving descriptions so as to add our unbiased thoughts.

Scroaps retail for $10
Bath Bombs $9
Cuticle Oil Pens $5

The labels on the scroap are not waterproof and bleed easily. Doesnt bother me but thought I'd make a note of it. The more you keep water out of this product the better it will last. I like to scoop some out into another small container then use from that. A few scents consistently leak oil, I can't tell where from, be it the cap or bottom of the jar. I sat mine on a square of toilet paper. No biggie but good to know not to set it on a wooden surface.

All of the body items arrived with some form of shrink wrapping.

SCREAMING MEEMIES
bomb, scroap, and oil

Screaming Meemies-floral bergamot combines with rich vanilla and whisky and a hint of holiday spices.

This scent is a bit manly, slightly spicy, rich and somewhat sweet. The bomb left no residue in the tub and the scent is noticeable throughout a bath. Blaine says "As a hairy man I had to use alot of scroap. It's cool for scroap to match the bath bomb scent. I like that it's a combo product because I don't like to take extra lady steps. Less sticky than the others I've tried. After the bath I felt clean and lightly moisturized."

It wasnt alot of scroap, lol. I'm so shocked that he is using this on his own! He has rough skin on his arms and I have coherce him to use anything usually. It is much less sticky/oily than others and I love that. I like only light moisturization in a scrub and so does he. This is great in the shower/bath and for hands. All these products in these scents leave the skin lightly scented.

The bomb dropped to the bottom and took approximatly 15 minutes to disolve. We used this one while the water was running to create some bubbles.

See the scroap in action here on my Instagram.  Bath bomb here.

These are 9.5 oz at least and retail for $10.00

Shhh...the bubbles have accepted squishy piggy as one of their
own.

Screaming Meemies and The Red Room bombs.these are huge!
8.5 to 9 oz, you could likly break them in half if
desired.
THE RED ROOM
scroap,bomb,oil

The Red Room: woody juniper and sage with vanilla poached pears.

This is my favorite scent! Earthy, clean, citrus/orange but not a sharp citrus, somehow like skittles... maybe that's pear? haha. The scent is stronger in the bomb than the scroap or oil but all will leave the skin lightly scented.

The color the bomb created is a strange greenish orange, perhaps not appealing overall but I don't care what color is created, only about the result. This one has little black specks/coloring that gathered at the edges of the tub and bubbles. However it didn't leave any coloring and rinsed away easily. I used this one after the water had filled. It sunk to the bottom and took approximatly 15 minutes to disolve. The scent was noticeable throughout, left my skin lightly moisturized and scented. I enjoyed it.

Video of the bath bomb.

COME HOME NELL
scroap and oil

Come Home Nell-combines floral notes of absinthe with the earthy scents of vanilla, sandalwood, and a hint of cedar.

This is a light scent that reminded me cheifly of vanilla frosting and a hint of florals. Basically like a cupcake without any bread notes. Horray! Both scroap and oil leave the skin lightly scented.

THE TWIN THING
scroap

The Twin Thing-simultaneously smells of bright fruity blackberry and caramel popcorn.

When I sniffed this I thought it smelled of efervescence, strawberries, and caramel, yum! Kinda close. I generally hate the scent of popcorn in beauty or bath products but I like this so I'd say the popcorn part isn't heavy.

This did have sugar sprinkles as well but I closed it after sniffing and before photographing and they all got stuck to the cap with a heap of scroap. These are generously filled.

THE BENT NECK LADY
scroap

The Bent-neck Lady-cinnamon candies mingles with crisp pear, dry quince, and amber.

This smells mainly of warm cinnamon and sugar. Once I knew there was pear I can pick up on it somewhat. I doubt I could have identified it as pear rather than just a general watery fruit scent but this really isn't my strong suit. It's very nice, especially for Fall.

CUTICLE OIL

I recieved cuticle oil in 3 scents. Come Home Nell, The Red Room, Wittness Marks. The first 2 are described above. Wittness Marks: a complex mix of fresh mint, basil, sweet nectarines and cookie dough. I mainly smell mint at first and very light whiff of citrus and somthing sugary, on dry down it's more blended and sweet. I didnt recieve anything in Scattered but here's the scent description. Scattered:a very fruity scent of sweet blueberry jam, apple and a hint of herbaceous sage. I assume it will be available in most items and sounds delightful!

The ingredients are: Chia seed oil, Jojoba oil, Argan oil,Shea Oil, Vitamin E, fragrance. Personally I prefer Jojoba oil to be the first ingredient in cuticle oil but I think this would be a good supplemental oil. The pen is my favorite type of applicator and they are reasonably priced at $5.00. For those of you who are unfamilair with this type of applicator I'm including a photo and explaination of how to get the oil to come out below.

Before on left, after  photos on right. These were each taken
after a day of no oils.

See the air bubble? You have to remove that before oil will
come out consistently. I do this by holding the pen upright and
slowly twisting the end. You will see the air bubble shrink. Keep
on twisting until oil comes out. This is my favorite applicator
because you can get oil under the free edge.
SONGBIRD CINNAMON

Songbird Cinnamon-inspired by the Songbird of Bioshock Infinite, this a deep caramel shade full of the green to gold sister UP pigment.

This shade is so beautiful! I love it so much, I probably included too many photos...hahaha what's that?!?

2 coats with topcoat. The formula of both these polishes are jelly like and do need very sufficent dry time per coat. Simple removal, like a creme.

$15.00

NECROMORPH NUDE

Necromorph Nude-inspired by the terrifying alien creatures of Dead Space, this a cool toned mid-toned nude that leans a little gray and has the green to blue UP sibling pigment.

This one is also stunninng and the shimmer in both are noticible in person too, not hidden.

3 coats with topcoat. Again this one is also a jelly-like consistency so I really reccomend sufficent dry time between coats to prevent tip shrinkage and smudges.

$15.00

These were all taken under the T5 full spectrum lights. Very close to sunlight but not as warm toned or bright=sparkly.
