The
Bee's Knees Arcana Collection is being expanded with 5 new beautiful core shades! As they are filled with shimmers, flakies, magnetic, and OGUP (unicorn pee) they fit right in with the other magical shades. These will be released this Friday, March 1, at 12 pm est along with a new batch of mystery bags with I *believe * 5-6 total new polishes swimming around in them.
Duke and Duchess Most Perverse
- Maker description: Duke and Duchess Most Perverse-a weird pale brown with green to red shimmer, iridescent flakes that shift blue to indigo and orange to red. This one is technically a magnetic but we don't think you necessarily need to magnetize it.
- $13
- This is a very unique polish and I am here for it! The base can look golden in warm light and the indigo shift of the flakies is so beautiful against this background. I used 2 coats with various topcoats. It naturally dries to a shiny finish. Lovely formula and more opaque than I expected. One coat made for a lovely ethereal look as well. The flakes do like to stick around on skin and after removal.
- Pointer and ring are not magnetized, middle and ring are magnetized.

She Who Harrows
- Maker description: She Who Harrows-a pale peach with two types of ghost flakes: OG UP (red/green/gold) flakes and green to blue sibling flakes. The perfect peach for spring!
- $15
- This is a polish I didn't know I needed until I put it on. Peach isn't a color I am usually attracted to or I think looks good on me.
- 3 coats with topcoats. Sheer but builds well, nail line was only the slightest bit visible in very bright direct lighting. This could be used for a sheer wash of color in one coat, my nails but better if you like. Dries to a glossy finish, flakies lay down perfectly. Not too thick or thin, good viscosity and ease of application.

Ruler of the Deep
- Maker description: Ruler of the Deep-the dark mood sister to Glaciomancy, this is a navy polish absolutely loaded with green to blue ghost flakes.
- $15
- My photos make this look a little brighter than it is, the base is a bit dusty. 3 coats with topcoats, nail line was not visible to the naked eye. Flakies lay down with no manipulation. The polish doesn't run or pull, good viscosity.

Master of Alchemy
- Maker description: Master of Alchemy-a much requested, very limited mystery bag polish from January. An amethyst polish full of OG UP. No undies needed for this one!
- $15
- This is gorgeous, very opaque, packed full of unicorn pee and amazingly a shade of purple U.P. I don't already have! I used 3 coats with various topcoats. This was 97% opaque at 2, normally I would wear it that way but I wanted it to be perfect for photos and it did deepen the color. Great formula, no streaks, pooling, dragging or running. There's a bit of photo spam...

Natural light, not a great photo but I wanted to show that
the shimmer is apparent in natural light, my video failed me. |
The Consecrator
- Maker description: The Consecrator-a deep blue that borders on turquoise with a red to green shimmer and a rainbow of iridescent flakies.
- $13
- My camera hates me and kept capturing the deep blue and not the turquoise which I definitely saw. I tried every color correction possible with no success. The base actually reminded me of another polish I have, I compared the bottles in hopes you would get a better idea what this truly looks like.
- 2 coats with topcoats. There was some really big flakies in here, I wanted them on ma nailz lol but I didn't get any. The formula was great, easy to minimize clean up as usual, no flooding cuticles or dragging polish. Flakies lay down on their own and this dries to a glossy finish. This did NOT have visible nail line to the naked eye.
