Hello lovely readers and thank you for visiting my fledgling blog!

I found the indie community at a time my Narcolepsy was at its worst. Polish and makeup gave me something fun and low impact to do and pretty to look at. Pretty makes you feel a little better, ya know? Fast forward 3 years and I was frustrated with the lack of polish swatches available in various and natural light sources. I finally decided to try my hand at blogging and am dedicated to providing accurate swatches in as many light sources as possible. Additionally many indie brands do not provide makeup swatches on a persons face which I find very helpful. I currently post my makeup reviews and looks on Instagram but plan to start including them here too. I am not a writer, unless it's poetry so expect my posts to generally be to the point and full of photos. Oh yeah, about me. I am 26, coming up on my 6th wedding anniversary in a few months and am a fur mom to an adorable ferret who sleeps even more than me.

Anything that is posted is not absolute, products perform differently based on body chemistry, climate,ect and results will be different for everyone. I purchase most of these products myself. If a product was sent for review from a brand or person, I will mention it in the blog post. Any products sent for review will have a link pointing to the brand or where to purchase the product. If I receive an item for review it is considered a gift therefore there is not return. I do not get compensated for my opinion on products; any thoughts on the product are my true opinion. Any product claim made in the blog post should be verified with the provider.

I accepts products for review from brands and public relations representatives. Receipt of a product, whether solicited or unsolicited, does not constitute a contract for a published review of the product or for the substance of any content produced that discusses the product. I does not guarantee favorable reviews and does not do paid positive product reviews. Review content is not pre-approved by PR representatives or brands. All products received are deemed to be gifts/commercial samples that do not form a contract for review.

If you wish to send me a product for review, you may inquire at apolishednarcoleptic@gmail.com. I will try to answer within 24 hours of the inquiry to let you know. I do accept products, however I will always give my honest opinion and if there is a problem with the product, I will report it to my readers. I will try my best to post a review in a reasonable time frame. Images posted in reviews may be used by those providing the product - however, I do require that you link back to this blog.

If you decide to join the newsletter via any of the many sign up forms located throughout this website, then your first name and email address are required. Google Analytics may also capture your IP address as you make your way around this website. User and event data is retained for 26 months and then is automatically deleted.
