IPU is short for Indie Pickup, the non polish side of the monthly Polish Pickup sale. I got some things that are tried and true for me and some new ones.

This month Bee's Knees is releasing 4 new multichromes inspired by some of their favorite Marvel characters. There will also be waxes in new shapes and scents (I received 2) and a new bath product. Sarah says "These use a new multichrome pigment which I think gives the polishes a little bit of extra sparkle. These have a ton of pigment packed into them so they're probably the shiftiest polishes I've made!" They really are fabulous, every color included in the descriptions appear easily.

May's Polish Pickup is almost here! The theme is I love the 80's and Sarah of Bee's Knees Lacquer has chosen Pet Semetary as her inspiration for both her polish and wax. The result is a beautiful medium gray polish with an eerie gold to green sibling unicorn pee (sought after small particle shifty pigment) shimmer and ghost flakes (iridescent/translucent) that shift green to blue and red to green. Y'all know I love grey polish and have a love affair with iridescent flakies so naturally I love this polish. First of all I must apologize. As a blogger I have failed you. I thought I wrote down how many coats I used but alas, I did not. It's either 2 or 3. The formula was great to use as usual, not too thick or thin. The consistency is easy to apply as it stays where you put it but doesn't dry so fast that it gets overworked and pulls. The flakies lay down easily on their own. Scroll down to the wax photos for my review of that. :)
I have never blogged my "Pickup" order in it's entirety but I did this flat lay and the colors came together for a beautiful theme...I couldn't resist. The theme was mythology and I think everyone did

NEVER FEED AFTER MIDNIGHT
gingersnap cookies combine with the decadent scent of s'mores and a touch of cool fall air.
This is mostly gingerbread to me but the cool fall air rounds it out nicely. Filled half of my house quickly, around 500 sq ft. This does not actually have any glitter, I failed to wipe it all out from the previous tart.

WHAT'S THIS?
a blend of freshly fallen snow, cinnamon, fir, and vanilla
I always love scents with "snow". No idea what actual scent that is (google says the presence of less odors) but it's very fresh and clean, almost laundry like. This one has really filled my house! I actually switched it off after a while because it was strong enough. That means it will last longer. :)
SANTA'S SLAY
equal parts cinnamon and cooling peppermint
This one is mostly cinnamon to me with something slightly herbal on cold sniff but warm both notes are noticeable and go together so nicely. Very strong throw, filled the whole house quickly, 1000+ sq ft, one floor.
THE PUMPKIN KING
warming combination of clove, cardamom, bourbon, and pumpkin
This filled half of my house quickly. Strong on pumpkin and cardamom.
CHEER OF FEAR
pepper and cinnamon mix with sweet vanilla and cherry tobacco
This is a mellow cherry on cold sniff and I love it. Warm it is very unique and somewhat odd but I still like it. Filled the whole house easily.
KRAMPUS CLAWS
-smells of everything spicy and gingerbread with a little added touch of sweet chai.
I recieved this in scroap form. It's a little more on the foody side than I usually enjoy but I love spices and all of these are foods heavily spiced so I actually do like it!
