May's Polish Pickup is almost here! The theme is I love the 80's and Sarah of Bee's Knees Lacquer has chosen Pet Semetary as her inspiration for both her polish and wax. The result is a beautiful medium gray polish with an eerie gold to green sibling unicorn pee (sought after small particle shifty pigment) shimmer and ghost flakes (iridescent/translucent) that shift green to blue and red to green. Y'all know I love grey polish and have a love affair with iridescent flakies so naturally I love this polish. First of all I must apologize. As a blogger I have failed you. I thought I wrote down how many coats I used but alas, I did not. It's either 2 or 3. The formula was great to use as usual, not too thick or thin. The consistency is easy to apply as it stays where you put it but doesn't dry so fast that it gets overworked and pulls. The flakies lay down easily on their own. Sometimes Dead Is Better: A blend of bright,clean grapefruit,earthy cucumber,and hints of vanilla and musk lurking underneath.

The most distinct scent to me is cucumber but it's sweetened by the vanilla and I think the musk helps with the throw but it's light and not overpowering. One cube of this scent filled the largest area of my home, an open kitchen and living room of about 550 sq ft.The juxtaposition of this wax and the flowery background amuses me.
