For August's Polish Pickup them At the Carnival MTK Design and Forty Winks Jewelry both chose carousels as inspiration and have loosely collaborated to offer a coordinating set available separately within PPu. Mary kindly sent me her gorgeous necklace to review and well, Forty Winks is me 😉. We knew each other's general color schemes because of our inspiration photos and agreed on bronze settings but otherwise each piece was created independently and I CANNOT get over how well they go together. I am thrilled that Mary agreed to collab with me! These will be available August 2-5th and are both limited quantities. Read on for details on each.
Inspiration: Nostalgic Horse Carousel photo – capturing this innocent childhood fun – of pure happiness. It’s a place with no cares, no worries; nothing but time. Time for one more ride, to still see the world as sparkling and bright.
Description: Care to play a little carousel roulette? – when the thermal polish (Blackhole Sun) warms one of 6 carousel horse are revealed in all its red/copper/gold sparkling glory. (That right, you will receive a random carousel horse. Even I won’t know which is which when they’re done!) The 1 inch glass cabochon is set in antique brass finished bezel and chain w/ a 2 inch extender accented by a single fire opal teardrop resin bead; playing off all those warm sparkles.

On their wedding day Tom surprises her with a carousel for everyone to enjoy, but not before they take a private ride. Love is worth it, if just for one short ride.
